The creative engagement sessions with Thornhill school and The Chiltern school involved using a microphone to record a variety of park and play related sounds, such as a ball bouncing, a mobile phone ringing or crisp packet being scrunched! The recordings were then viewed using a digital ‘Oscilloscope‘ to showcase the different digital sound waves. The recordings were then slowed down and speeded up to show how audio can create a variety of visual shapes and patterns when played at different speeds

Try playing the 2 sounds below TOGETHER and see what they sound like!
